Wild and Stacked Wilds: The... Lab Logo?... is the wild symbol. We haven't followed the movies that closely, but it looks like a sigil of a star in a circle. It replaces all symbols on screen except bonus and scatter.
Every once in a while, the wilds come stacked and if they land and cover either of the whole reel of the slots, they get transferred to the exact same spot on the other side.
